Fees of $72 per hour for the examination of weighing and measuring instruments submitted for approval to the Trading Standards Service.
Fees of $78.75 per hour for contestable work such as standards calibration and audits on accredited persons.
The current fees do not fully recover the costs of processing approval applications. It is necessary to charge full costs associated with Trading Standards Service work to fund New Zealand becoming a full member of OIML, without a reduction in services to clients and consumers.

An increase in hourly fees from $78.75 to $125 for contestable work such as standards calibration and audits on accredited persons. [1]
