New Consumer Information Notice (CIN)

From 1 July 2008, all motor vehicle traders will need to complete and display the new Consumer Information Notice (CIN) when a used motor vehicle is offered for sale.

The Consumer Information Notice (CIN) replaces the current Supplier Information Notice (SIN).

The Consumer Information Notice (CIN) has been designed to provide information clearly to consumers and for ease of completion by traders. The information on the reverse of the CIN has been updated.
