Voluntary GM-Free Labelling: workshop report and summary of submissions on the discussion paper

In April of 2003 the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, in conjunction with the New Zealand Food Safety Authority, released a discussion paper on voluntary GM-Free labelling and invited submissions from all interested parties. A stakeholders’ workshop was convened on November 27 of 2003 to discuss the various issues associated with developing such a labelling scheme.
