Most of the information in the Consumer Information, Business Information, Product Safety, and Measurement sections of this website is the online version of the contents of our printed publications.

For some publications we have PDF versions available. This is indicated alongside the title as a link to the page from which the PDF version can be downloaded.

Unless, you require a hardcopy printed version of the information, we recommend that you read the information provided online (or download all or parts of the PDF version, where available) to get instant information about a topic of interest to you.

When to Use This Form

Members of the Public

Use this form to order single copies of consumer related publications from the Ministry of Consumer Affairs. To do so, fill in your contact details and enter 1 in the Quantity field (QTY) beside the title. Then click on the 'Submit Order' button.

Business Orders

Use this form to order copies business publications from the Ministry of Consumer Affairs. To do so, fill in your contact details and enter the number required in the Quantity field (QTY) beside the title. Then click on the 'Submit Order' button. Please note that orders of more than three copies attract a charge of $1 per copy (this currently does not apply to Credit Sales - A Guide for Retailers).

Community Agencies

If you carry a regular stock of our publications to provide to consumers, use this form to order publications from the Ministry of Consumer Affairs. To do so, fill in your contact details and enter the number required in the Quantity field (QTY) beside the title. Then click on the 'Submit Order' button.  Please note we are unable to supply more than 25 copies per title for each order.

Response Times

Orders are dispatched within five working days of receipt of your order.

Cost of Publications Policy

The Ministry's policy is that most of our publications are free of charge. The exception is Business Note orders of more than three copies per title attract a charge of $NZ1.00 per copy. Payment for this charge will be by way of invoice sent to you by post along with the hardcopy publications.
