The Ministry of Consumer Affairs is warning all Facebook users to be careful when clicking adverts, liking pages and accepting events on Facebook.

Two online survey scams are currently doing the rounds in New Zealand and may be showing as a wall post on one of your friend's pages already.

The first relates to a JB Hifi scam offering $200 gift vouchers and the second relates to a similar scam but offering $20 Dick Smith vouchers.

JB Hifi has recently posted about this phishing scam on their own company's Facebook wall warning users that it definitely is a scam. The link will take you to a website that first asks you to repost the link on your own wall, this will catch even more victims out including your friends, you are then taken to an online survey to complete to get your 'voucher'.

There is no voucher and when you complete the survey you will become a victim of identity theft; you may even be subjected to more scams!

Scamwatch has been alerted to numerous fake advert scams found all over the internet and is warning all internet users to 'be careful what you click'!
