Protect Others

Scams target you: protect yourself.

Scammers target people of all backgrounds, ages and income levels. There is no group of people who are more likely to become a victim of a scam.

However, all of us can be better prepared for a scam if we know about it before we are targeted.

This section of SCAMwatch provides you with the opportunity to help others by reporting a scam or a scam attempt – so that others can be aware and prepared.

I want to help protect others by reporting a scam to SCAMwatch.

Your report will be emailed to the Ministry of Consumer Affairs and then a summarised version, without any information that allows you to be personally identified, may be posted on the SCAMwatch Alerts section.

By reporting a scam to SCAMwatch, you will help others to be better informed, aware and therefore better prepared.

The Ministry of Consumer Affairs provides the SCAMwatch information service. Please note that the Ministry has no assessment, investigation or enforcement powers to follow up on scams.
